Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
A. T. Scott and H. A. Truman, Woburn Road, Lower Hutt, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from pumps proposed to be installed at service-station premises at Woburn Road, Lower Hutt.
C. G. Johnson, Henderson Valley, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps to be installed at garage premises at Henderson Valley.
Belfast Motor and General Engineering Co., Ltd., Belfast, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at garage premises, Belfast.
T. Woods, Raurimu, has applied for a licence to resell motor- spirit from one pump to be installed at garage premises, Raurimu.
W. A. Arnold, Pirinoa, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at garage premises, Pirinoa.
R. E. Loane, Great South Road, Otahuhu, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at garage premises at the corner of Great South Road and Huia Street, Otahuhu.
Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., Invercargill, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at garage premises at Leven Street, Invercargill.
McLeod and Gardner, Ltd., Market Street, Hastings, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at premises at 214N Market Street, Hastings.
B. S. Banks, Kawakawa Bay, Clevedon, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at store premises at Kawakawa Bay.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 7th April, 1949, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Price Order No. 984 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 927)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:-
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 984, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 927* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
2 This Order shall come into force on the 28th day of March, 1949.
- Clause 7 of the principal Order is hereby amended by revoking paragraph (b) of subclause (1), and substituting the following paragraph :-
Maximum Price Per Pound. At the Rate of
"(b) For other honey-
" (i) Sold by a producer to a consumer- s. d. " (a) In lots of 60 lb. or less .. 0 11½ " (b) In lots of over 60 lb. .. 0 10½ " (ii) Sold by a producer to a packer, wholesaler, or retailer .. .. 0 10½ " (iii) Sold by any person whomsoever to a wholesaler .. .. .. 0 10½ " (iv) Sold by a wholesaler (not including a producer) to a retailer .. .. 0 11½ " (v) Sold by a retailer .. .. 1 1¼"
