Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Mount Nessing Domain

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and published in the Gazette of the nineteenth day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Mount Nessing Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Matthew George Wills,
Clifton Thomas Ayson Brown,
Bruce Henry Kidd,
Ben John Glass,
William George Moynihan,
Ian William Calder, and
Emily Alice Glass

to be the Mount Nessing Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mount Nessing Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

RESERVE 3952, Block VI, Opawa Survey District : Area, 2 acres 3 roods 9·3 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Joseph Huia Palmerston Liggins,
Thomas Melville Iredale Ryder,
Norman John Whyte, and
John Russell Whyte

to be the Tokomaru Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. J. H. P. Liggins as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOKOMARU DOMAIN
ALL that area containing 6 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, situated in Block V, Arawaru Survey District, being part of Mana-watu-Kukutauaki 2A No. 11, and being also Suburban Section 160, Township of Tokomaru, as defined on Deposited Plan No. 367 (Wellington Registry).

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for access-way purposes :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for access-way purposes.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Borough of One Tree Hill, situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 22·9 perches, more or less, being Lot 173 as shown on the plan numbered 17735, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part Allotments 13 and 14 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/274B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart as an endowment or for the use of the Manunui Town Board :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve as an endowment or for the use of the Manunui Town Board to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Ashburton Borough Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel-pit purposes and is vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton, in trust, for gravel purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Ashburton Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
