Declaring Portion of Railway Land at Rangiora to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the
Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
1 rood 30·5 perches.
Being part of Rural Section 1696.
Situated in the Borough of Rangiora. (S.O. 8048.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9717, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of March, 1949.

Land Taken in Block II, Belmont Survey District, for Better
Utilization

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty
of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and
I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-nine.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 1 rood.
Situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District, being the
Maori Land Court Subdivision known as Kenepuru No. 2c Block,
and being also all the land comprised and described in Certificate
of Title, Volume 150, folio 297 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of March, 1949.

Land Taken for a Police-station in the Town District of Ohura

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—
A. R. P. Being
0 0 28·6 Parts Sections 13 and 15, Block III, Town of
Mangaroa (now Ohura), and being the balance of
the land comprised and described in Certificate
of Title, Volume 59, folio 56 (Taranaki Land
Registry).
0 1 3·28 Part Section 14, Block III, Town of Mangaroa
(now Ohura), and being the balance of the land
comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 76, folio 186 (Taranaki Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 4th day of March, 1949.
