DEDICATION AND OPENING OF BURIAL-GROUND
In the matter of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and in the matter
of a Roman Catholic Burial-ground at Warkworth.
NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned persons, being not
less than twenty-five adult members of the religious denomina-
tion known as “Roman Catholic,” acting under section 59 of the
above-entitled Act, and with the sanction of the Minister of Health,
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is dedicated and open
as a burial-ground to be used only for the burial of the members of
the said denomination.
SCHEDULE
All that land being Section 96B, Block VI, Mahurangi Survey
District, containing an area of three (3) acres thirty-four (34) perches,
more or less, being the whole of the land comprised and described in
certificate of title, Vol. 623, folio 254 (Auckland Registry).

MEDICAL REGISTRATION
I, RONALD LINCOLN KENNEDY, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), 1932,
L.R.C.P. (Lond.), 1933, now residing in Wellington, hereby
give notice that I intend applying on the 29th December, 1948, to
have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of
New Zealand, and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE
Main Highways Loan, 1947, £45,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers
(if any) it thereunto enabling, the Manawatu County Council hereby
resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal
and interest and other charges on the loan of forty-five thousand
pounds (£45,000), authorized to be raised by the Manawatu County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing
the Council’s share of the cost of construction, reconstruction, and
sealing of main highways within the County of Manawatu as follows:
Longburn–Tangimoana Highway (Kopane Bridge to No. 1 Highway),
Rongotea–Rangiotu Highway, Foxton–Shannon Highway (Foxton
to Shannon Bridge), the Manawatu County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny (5/16d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of
September in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
properly constituted meeting of the Manawatu County Council
held at the County Offices, Sanson, on Tuesday, the 13th day of
April, 1948.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridges Loan, 1947, £10,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Manawatu
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), authorized to
be raised by a poll of ratepayers under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of providing the cost of renewing six bridges on
county roads within the County of Manawatu, the said Manawatu
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth
of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
September in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Workers’ Dwelling Loan, 1945, £12,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Manawatu County Council hereby
resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal
and interest and other charges on a loan of twelve thousand pounds
(£12,000), authorized to be raised by the Manawatu County Council
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the erection
of workers’ dwellings within the County of Manawatu, the said
Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-twelfth of a penny (1/12d.) in the pound on the rateable
value of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of
September in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
properly constituted meeting of the Manawatu County Council held
at the County Offices, Sanson, on Tuesday, the 10th day of August,

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
THE WELLINGTON CITY HOUSING LOAN 1948 OF £50,000
Resolution Making Special Rate
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on Monday, the 6th day of
December 1948:—
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and
its Amendments the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as
follows:—
That for the purpose of providing the interest repayment of
principal and other charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds
(£50,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Loan 1948
authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of acquiring land and buildings
converting existing buildings into flats and erecting workers dwellings
together with works connected therewith the Wellington City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of Thirty-four eight
hundredths of a penny (34/800d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the whole of the City of Wellington and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and shall be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan being a period of
twenty-five (25) years from the fifteenth day of March 1949 or until
the loan is fully paid off.

PNEUDRAULIC SAFETY SUSPENSION, LIMITED
MEMBERS’ VOLUNTARY WINDING UP
NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution of share-
holders of Pneudraulic Safety Suspension, Limited, dated
2nd day of December, 1948, it was resolved:—
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
“2. That Mr. CECIL SHENKIN, Public Accountant, of Auckland,
be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company for the
purposes of a members’ voluntary winding up.”
Notice to Creditors to Prove
The liquidator of Pneudraulic Safety Suspension, Limited, does
hereby fix the 24th day of December, 1948, as the day on or before
which creditors of the company have to prove their claims or debts
and to establish priority (if any) under section 258 of the Companies
Act, 1933, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefits of any
distribution made before such claims or debts are proved, or as the
case may be, from objection to such distribution.
