Amendment to Auckland Showground By-laws

PART IV.—APPLICATION FOR LICENCE

“ 6. The fee to be paid with any application shall be as under :—
“ (i) For a proprietor’s or manager’s licence, £3.
“ (ii) For an attendant’s licence not authorizing the holder to act in the principal or sole charge of any side-show, £1.”

This is to certify that the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association made, in accordance with its rules, the above amendment to its by-laws at a meeting held on the 19th day of November, 1948, and authorizes the gazetting of this amendment.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Richmond, taken on the 1st day of December, 1948, on the proposal of the Richmond Borough Council to borrow the sum of £9,000, for the purpose of improving and extending the water-supply reticulation within the Borough of Richmond—

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WHEREAS a poll of ratepayers of the Taradale Town District was taken on the 14th day of April, 1948, on a proposal to raise a special loan of £1,900, to be known at the “Plant Purchase Loan, 1947,” notice is hereby given that the number of votes recorded for and against the proposal was as follows :—

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 7th day of May, 1940, and published in Gazette No. 41 of the 9th day of the same month, at page 1036, whereby the said land was, inter alia, declared to be subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, and such land is hereby excluded from the Ruatoki Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Waiariki Maori Land Court District, containing 1 rood, more or less, called or known as Ruatoki A 8b 1, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 903, folio 58 (Auckland Registry).

Dated at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1948.
