The Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1948.—Land-tax Payable by Persons Other Than Companies

IN accordance with Order in Council dated 13th October, 1948, I hereby notify that land-tax leviable under the above Act on land held by persons other than companies is payable at any office of the Land and Income Tax Department or at any money-order post-office in one sum on Friday, 14th January, 1949. The liability is not suspended by any objection, and the tax must be paid on or before Friday, 4th February, 1949, to avoid the additional percentage; any overpayment will be refunded.

Demands will be issued on or about 7th January, 1949, and must be presented with all payments.
