Vesting a Reserve in the Wallace County Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1948
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for county buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wallace:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wallace, in trust, for county buildings.

SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 6 acres 1 rood 38 perches, more or less, being Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, Block IV, Village of Drummond, D.P. 276, being part Section 156, Block IV, Oreti Hundred. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/289, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for municipal purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, in trust, for municipal purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton, in trust, for a site for a public hall.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the County of Ashburton, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being part of Reserve 4151, situated in Block VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/794A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a site for a benevolent home for women: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Victoria Memorial Home Society or Trust Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Victoria Memorial Home Society or Trust Board, in trust, for a site for a benevolent home for women.
