Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Borough of Opotiki, Gisborne Land District

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for police purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for buildings of the General Government:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for police purposes to a reserve for buildings of the General Government.

SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in the Borough of Opotiki, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 3·8 perches, more or less, being Allotment 450 of Section 2 (formerly part of Allotment 1 of Section 2), Town of Opotiki. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/318A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a public hall to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for rifle range purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/179, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. ALL that area in the County of Manukau situated in Block I, Wairoa Survey District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 5·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on the plan numbered 35177, lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part of Allotment 17, Maraetai Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/918, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
