Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Ahipara Memorial Domain

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published in Gazette of the fifth day of that month, the Mangonui County Council was appointed a Domain Board to have control of the Ahipara Domain, in pursuance of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas it is desired to change the name of the said Ahipara Domain to Ahipara Memorial Domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be known as the Ahipara Memorial Domain ; and, with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, hereinbefore referred to, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Ahipara Domain, and doth hereby appoint

The Mangonui County Council

to be the Ahipara Memorial Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, for the purpose of and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AHIPARA MEMORIAL DOMAIN
SECTION 151, Block IV, Ahipara Survey District : Area, 10 acres, more or less.
Sections 68 and 69, Block IV, Ahipara Survey District : Area, 1 rood 35·2 perches, more or less.

Batstone and Son, Kirwee, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SECTION 1, Block V, Clive Survey District : Area, 3 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less.
Also all that area containing 12 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, situated in Block II, Kidnapper Survey District, being part of Block 2A, Kidnapper Crown Grant District, and being also Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan No. 6509, together with the water rights and incidental rights appurtenant thereto over the parts coloured blue on the said plan and thereon marked “Pipe-line Easement” and “Tank” and “Spring” (part of Block 2A, Kidnapper Crown Grant District, Hawke's Bay, Volume 59, folio 283), created in and by Transfer 66625.
