ACT, 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District
of Auckland intends to take under the provisions of the
Public Works Act, 1928, for a public school, the following additional
land—namely, all those pieces of land containing 1 acre 3 roods
35 perches, more or less, being Lots 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42, on a plan
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, as No. 11040,
and being the whole of the land comprised in certificates of title,
Vol. 335, folio 199; and Vol. 414, folio 34, and part of the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 492, folio 53, Auckland Registry.

A plan of that portion of the said land, comprising Lots 38
and 39 aforesaid, is deposited at the post-office at Paihia,
and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable
hours.

All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to
set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of
such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District
of Auckland at its office, Wellesley Street East, Auckland.

perches, more or less, being portion of Lot 9 on a plan deposited in
the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 13822, and being portion
of Allotment 254 of the Parish of Kirikiriroa, and part of the land
comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 825, folio 158, Auckland
Registry.

A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Hamilton
and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable
hours.

All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set
forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first
publication of this notice to the Education Board of the District

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Acts
amending the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Christchurch, a body corporate under the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, proposes to take under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and its amendments, for
the purposes of an electrical substation-site:—

All those parcels of land situated in Block X of the Christchurch
Survey District, containing together 3·8 perches, being parts of
Rural Section 188 and those parts of the land in certificate of title,
Vol. 363, folio 80 (Canterbury Land Registry Office), more parti-
cularly shown coloured respectively orange and blue on a plan
deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, and
therein numbered S.O. 8027.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the
land required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers
of such land is deposited at the offices of the Town Clerk at Christ-
church, where it lies open for public inspection daily, without fee,
during all reasonable hours, and that all persons affected shall, if
they have any objections to the taking of such land, set forth in
writing such objection and send such writing within forty days from
the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 26th day
of November 1948, addressed to the Town Clerk, Christchurch.
