Revoking Portion of a Proclamation Taking Land for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Marton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 5 of the twenty-ninth day of the same month at page 93, taking land for housing purposes in the Borough of Marton, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land no longer required: 1 acre 0 roods 39·5 perches.

Being part of D.P. 3362, being part of Block VIII, Rangitikei District (Borough of Marton). (S.O. 21753.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127893, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for a Workers’ Hostel in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a workers’ hostel; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on, and after the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 32 perches.

Being part of Section 654 on the public map of the Town of Wellington, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 403, folio 21 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for Police Purposes (Residence) in the City of Palmerston North

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.

Being part of Section 1042 on the plan of the Town of Palmerston North, being Lot 7 on D.P. 1588, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 206, folio 228 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electric works and shall vest in the Auckland Electric-power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 19·3 perches.

Being part Allotment 97, Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District (Borough of Mount Eden) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34841.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127897, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of November, 1948.
