Land Taken for a Public Works Depot in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public works depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 2 roods 15 perches.

Being Section 2811, Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 41, folio 148 (Westland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of October, 1948.

Land Taken for an Automatic-telephone Exchange in the Borough of Ellerslie

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic-telephone exchange; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 34·1 perches.

Being part Lot 5, D.P. 31250, being part Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District (Borough of Ellerslie) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35225.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127899, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of November, 1948.

Land Taken for a Post-office in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 22·54 perches.

Being Lot 2, D.P. 4272, Township of St. Leonards on the Hill, being part Section 9, Block II, Upper Kaikorai District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 301, folio 186 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of October, 1948.

Land Taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes (Postmaster's Residence) in the Taradale Town District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the water rights in respect of the artesian well and the water-pipe easement over part of Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 6881, reserved in and by Transfer No. 70676, and appurtenant to the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 17 perches.

Being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 6881, which said piece of land is part of Suburban Section 55, Meeanee, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume 105, folio 243 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of October, 1948.
