Price Order No. 944 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 919) (Nails)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 944, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 919* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order* shall come into force on the 29th day of October, 1948.

  3. The principal Order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto, and substituting the following Schedule:—

"SCHEDULE

Thickness by Gauge Measurement. Where Quantity Sold is 1 cwt. or More. Where Quantity Sold is not Less than ¼ cwt. but is Less than 1 cwt. Where Quantity Sold is not Less than ⅛ cwt. but is Less than ¼ cwt. Where Quantity Sold is not Less than 7 lb. but is Less than ⅛ cwt. Where Quantity Sold is Less than 7 lb. Where Quantity Sold is 1 Ton or More. Where Quantity Sold is Less than 1 Ton.
