THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to an easement for waterworks being taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Levin (hereinafter referred to as the Corporation) full and free right and liberty forever to maintain without hindrance a line of water-pipes over and under each of the said pieces of land, and to use such water-pipes for the purpose of conveying water, and granting unto the Corporation full and free right and liberty for itself, its surveyors, workmen, agents, employees, servants, and licensees from time to time and at all times to open up, remove, or replace the said water-pipes as often as occasion shall require for the purpose of inspecting, cleansing, amending, renewing, or repairing the said pipes and/or maintaining the same in good and satisfactory repair, order, and condition.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a public school.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Malcolm Hardie Scott, John Wilson, Alexander Douglas Campbell, John McIntyre, William John Burke, David Samuel Irwin, Richard Milton Young, and Frederick James Ashley to be the Browns Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Browns Public Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
