Appointment of Honorary Fishery Officer

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, I, Frederick Hackett, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint the person named hereunder to be an Honorary Fishery Officer for the purposes of Part I of the Fisheries Act, 1908, to hold office until the 31st day of March, 1950.

Appointment of Honorary Officers

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, I, Frederick Hackett, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint the person named in the following Schedule to be Honorary Officers for the Taupo Trout Fishing District shown in such Schedule for the purposes of Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, such persons to hold office until the 31st March, 1950.

Varying Determinations by the Minister of Customs Under Section 16 of the Customs Acts Amendment Act, 1934

Customs Department,
Wellington, 18th October, 1948.

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Customs Acts Amendment Act, 1934, the Minister of Customs doth hereby vary the determinations made under the said section 16 dated the 29th day of April, 1939, and published in the Gazette on the 11th day of May, 1939, at page 1457., by adding to paragraph 4 of Part II thereof the undermentioned goods which, if imported, shall not, except with the special permission of the Minister and under conditions prescribed by him, be used in the assembly, completion, or manufacture of motor-vehicles of any of the classes mentioned in Part I thereof:—

Pneumatic rubber tires and inner tubes of rubber therefor.

This variation of the aforesaid determinations shall take effect on 1st day of January, 1949.
