Foreshore Licence: Pounawea—Wharf for Fishermen

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1948
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Joseph Alexander Bower, James White Thomson, and David Wilson, as trustees for the inhabitants of the district (hereinafter called the trustees), which term shall include their successors and assigns, unless the context requires a different construction, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Pounawea, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8636, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule thereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

THIS licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of October, 1948.

The annual sum payable by the trustees shall be one shilling (1s.), payable on demand.

The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Queen Charlotte Transport, Limited (hereinafter called the company), which term shall include its successors and assigns, unless the context requires a different construction, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Picton Harbour, Queen Charlotte Sound, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 3000, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a boat-slip thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule thereto.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby licence and permit Horace Tomkies, of Queenstown (hereinafter called the licensee), which term shall include his executors, administrators, and assigns, unless the context requires a different construction, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 5225, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Hugh McGuire,
George Carson Bovill,
Eric Alfred Harker,
John Lapwood,
Walter Francis Collins,
Xavier Garbolino Dromgool, and
Leonard Logan
to be the Tuakau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, at half past one o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, Tuakau, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the sixth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Clinton Domain, and doth hereby appoint
Clarence William Bagrie,
George Lamb Copland,
John Cameron Ritchie,
Frank Edward Williams,
James Frederick William Meggitt,
James Wallace Shaw Abernethy, and
The member of the Clutha County Council representing the Clinton Riding, ex officio,
to be the Clinton Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Board Chambers, Clinton, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
