Crown Land Declared to be a Soil-conservation Reserve in Hawkdun Survey District and Blocks II and IV, Ahuriri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a soil-conservation reserve; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land dealt with: 8,260 acres.

Being part Run 322A.

Situated in Blocks II and IV, Ahuriri Survey District, and in Hawkdun Survey District (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127638, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1948.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work, and not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 65 acres 1 rood 7 perches.

Being part Lot 4, D.P. 6231, being part Rural Sections 17229 and 17882.

Situated in Blocks III and VII, Spaxton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7866.)

In the Canterbury Land District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125913, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of September, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 25ยท34 perches.

Being part Section 10.

Situated in Block I, Oamaru Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9665.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127741, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of September, 1948
