SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY

Rimu Rural Fire District

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Westland County, containing 17,000 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IV, VII, VIII, XI, XII, and XVI, Mahinapua Survey District, and Blocks V and IX, Kanieri Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east generally by Section 2044, Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District; thence by the north-eastern side of Borough Road South and the eastern side of Borough Road East to Reserve 1713 (permanent State forest—Gazette, 1934, page 1387), and by the northern and eastern boundaries of that reserve to Adair's Road; thence by the north-eastern side of Adair's Road to its junction with the Hokitika—Ross Road, and by a right line from that point to the confluence of Back Creek and the Hokitika River; again towards the north-east and towards the east and south-east by the left bank of the Hokitika River; towards the south-west by the south-western side of the H.P. Line Road to Lake Mahinapua; towards the north and south-west generally by the shores of Lake Mahinapua; and towards the north-west by the Mahinapua Creek, and by the Ross—Hokitika Railway Reserve. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 125/67, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with the right-of-way created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 201316, Auckland Land Registry, being taken for a parking-place.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 31·1 perches.

Being Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 19160, and Lots 1 and 3, D.P. 19325, and being parts of Allotments 2, 3, 4, and 6 of Section 18, City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 430, folio 235 (Auckland Land Registry).

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 24 acres 3 roods 36 perches.

Being part Rural Section 26568.

Situated in Block XII, Oxford Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7484.)

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Tokirima Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Hopeful Gower,
Douglas Alexander Grant,
Herbert Johnson,
Arthur Raymond Sandilands,
Gerald Fencourt Nivens,
Edwin Harry French, and
Arthur George Tibby

to be the Tokirima Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, at half past two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tokirima Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SECTION 39, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District: Area, 18 acres 2 roods, more or less.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 37 acres 0 roods 6·1 perches and 2 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being the western and eastern portions respectively of Section 23, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District.

PURSUANT to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the owners thereof as a meeting-place and recreation reserve.
