Additional Land at Kaiapoi taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :—

A. R. P. Being
0 0 0·9 Part Rural Section 321.
0 0 1·7 Part Rural Section 321.

Situated in the Borough of Kaiapoi. (S.O. 7926.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated in the plan marked I.O. 9179, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1948.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in the Town of Reefton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.

Being Lot 31, D.P. 38, being part of Section 133, Square 131, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 25, folio 196 (Nelson Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 6 acres 0 roods 35 perches.

Being part Block VIII, Rangitikei District, D.P. 3362.

Situated in Block III, Rangitoto Survey District (Borough of Marton). (S.O. 21603.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126504, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods.

Being part Section 23 of the Masterton Small Farm Settlement, D.P. 2145 and A 1136, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 350, folio 64 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1948.
