Vesting the Control of a Reserve for a Public-hall Site in the Riverton Rocks Association (Incorporated)

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1948

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a public-hall site: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Riverton Rocks Association (Incorporated):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Riverton Rocks Association (Incorporated).

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 32 perches, more or less, being Lot 17, Township of The Rocks (D.P. 1708), being part Section 7, Block II, Jacobs River Hundred, and being part of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 107, folio 74 (Southland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/124, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for gravel purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Wallace County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Wallace County Council.

Recreation Reserves in Canterbury Land District Brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1948

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Upper Riccarton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Upper Riccarton Domain Board.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of September, 1948

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Broadwood Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Broadwood Domain Board.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for various purposes of public utility over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the purposes of general utility over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
