Land Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XI, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood 7·7 perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 3010, being part Section 7, Porirua District. Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 21594.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126286, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of August, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a milk-treating house; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 0 roods 29 perches.
Being part Lot 3, D.P. 6187, being parts of Te Whare O Maraenui Block, Ahuriri Lagoon Reserve, and old bed of Tutaekuri River (Borough of Napier) (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2272.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126208, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Neil James Anderson, of Kumeu, Farmer, under and by virtue of Memorandum of Lease No. 11656; Auckland Registry, is hereby taken for defence purposes.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12·1 perches.
Situate in the Borough of Hastings, being part of the Heretaunga Block, and being also Lot 6 on Deposited Plan No. 2043, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume 96, folio 84 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry).

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 25 and 26, Block I, Hunua Survey District: Area, 26 acres 0 roods 19 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of November, 1947.
