Land Taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes (Postmaster's
Residence) in Block IX, Town of Hirstfield

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—
A. R. P. Being
0 1 0 Section 10, Block IX, Town of Hirstfield, and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 165, folio 98 (Southland
Land Registry).
0 1 0 Section 11, Block IX, Town of Hirstfield, and being
the balance of the land comprised and described
in Certificate of Title, Volume 117, folio 54
(Southland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of August, 1948.

Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in
Block I, Titirangi Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, held from His Majesty the King by James Briggs, of Auckland,
Driver, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease No. 1830, Auckland
Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the
Second Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Thomas
William Willett, of Swanson, Farmer, under and by virtue of
Renewable Lease No. 1555, Auckland Registry, are hereby taken
for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land in respect of which the
leasehold estate is taken :—

0 0 2 Part Allotment 265, Waipareira Parish ; coloured
blue.
0 0 4 Part Allotment 266, Waipareira Parish ; coloured

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land in respect of which the
leasehold estate is taken :—

0 1 22 Part Allotment 264, Waipareira Parish ; coloured
yellow.
0 0 29·1 Part Allotment 264, Waipareira Parish ; coloured
yellow, edged yellow.
All situated in Block I, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 33753.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125817, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of August, 1948.

PURSUANT to section twenty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (line
store and garage); and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart :
1 rood 26·7 perches.
Being Lot 8, on D.P. 19502, of Block XIV in the Maori Township
of Te Kuiti.
Situated in Block III, Otanake Survey District (Borough of
Te Kuiti) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33730.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126866, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of August, 1948.

portion of public reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this
