Land Taken for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes in Blocks XIII, XIV, and XV, Waipukurau Survey District, Waipawa and Waipukurau Counties

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation and river-control purposes, and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Napier as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1·92 perches, Being part Suburban Section 84, Napier (Borough of Napier) (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2287.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126779, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of August, 1948.
