Appointment of Honorary Officers

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, I, Frederick Hackett, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint the person named in the following Schedule to be an Honorary Officer for the acclimatization district shown in such Schedule for the purposes of Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, such person to hold office until the 31st March, 1950.

Commissioner of the Supreme Court Appointed

Frederick William Cox, Esquire, of Melbourne, in the State of Victoria, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, has this day been appointed by the Right Honourable Sir Humphrey Francis O'Leary, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in Victoria under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1947

(1) DECLARING A SALEYARD TO BE A RECEIVING DEPOT FOR BOBBY CALVES

Pursuant to Regulation 38 (1) of the above regulations, notice is hereby given that the saleyards located at Westfield, and known as the Westfield Saleyards, are deemed to be a receiving depot for bobby calves under the said regulations.

(2) APPOINTMENT OF PRODUCER MEMBERS TO THE WESTFIELD BOBBY CALF SALEYARDS COMMITTEE

Pursuant to Regulation 39 (1) of the above regulations, the following persons, namely-

Lawrence William Aldridge,
John Herbert Bruce,
William Draper,
Denis William Hill, and
George Frederick Lockwood

Are duly appointed to be the first producer members of the Westfield Bobby Calf Saleyards Committee established under the said regulations.
