ASHBURTON TRANSPORT COMPANY, LIMITED

IN LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the shareholders of Ashburton Transport Company, Limited, will be held at the registered office of the company, West Street, Ashburton, on Friday, the 27th day of August, 1948, at 11 a.m., pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933.

The liquidator will lay before the meeting an account of the winding-up, showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed, and give any explanation thereof.

The liquidator will call for an extraordinary resolution of shareholders under section 275 of the Companies Act, 1933, to direct him as to the disposal of the books and papers of the company.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between IAN WILLIAM McGLASHAN and ROBERT ARTHUR DARRINGTON, carrying on business as Motor Engineers at Northcote under the name of “McGlshan and Darrington,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of July, 1948. All debts due and owing by the partnership will be received and paid respectively by the said ROBERT ARTHUR DARRINGTON, who will continue to carry on the said business under his own name. Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
