IN LIQUIDATION
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of the Nireaha and Stirling Co-operative Stores, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held in the Nireaha Hall, Nireaha, on Tuesday, 17th August, 1948, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of receiving accounts showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of.

THE HAWKE'S BAY HOSPITAL BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PURSUANT to section 22 of the Public Works Act, 1928, notice is hereby given that the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board proposes, under the powers conferred upon it by the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926 (section 74), to execute a certain public work—namely, the erection of hospital buildings, to wit—Nurses' Home. and accommodation—and that accordingly the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for the purposes of such work. Notice is further given that a plan of the lands required to be taken for the purposes aforesaid is deposited in the offices of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board at the Hospital, Barrack Hill, Napier, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said works or the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said works or to the taking of such lands must set forth their objections in writing, and send the same addressed to the Managing-Secretary to the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board, Napier, within forty days from the first publication of this notice.
THE SCHEDULE
(1) ALL that parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, containing 31·4 perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Napier, being part of Suburban Section 26, Town of Napier, and being also Lot l on Deeds Plan 715, and being all the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 22, folio 23 (limited as to parcels), and subject to the fencing covenant contained in Deed No. 58436 and to Outstanding Mortgage Registered No. 58437.
(2) All that parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, containing 31·2 perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Napier, being part of Suburban Section 26, Town of Napier, and being all Lot 2 on Deeds Plan 715, and all the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 22, folio 30 (limited as to parcels).
(3) All that parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, containing 22·85 perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Napier, being part of Suburban Section 26, Town of Napier, and being also the balance of Lot 3 on Deeds Plan 715 after deducting Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 5068, which said Lot 1 now forms part of a public street, and being all the land in certificate of title, H.B. Vol. 82, folio 183.

DANNEVIRKE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the power vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Dannevirke Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000), authorized to be raised by the Dannevirke Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing, constructing, and erecting extensions and additions to all the electrical distribution and reticulation of the Dannevirke Electric-power District, and provide tools, plant, buildings, land, and equipment for the same, as defined by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and its amendments, the said Dannevirke Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixteen one-hundredths of one penny (16/100d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Dannevirke Electric-power District, comprising the whole of the Dannevirke Electric-power District as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of the 11th day of August, 1921; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, the extension of the Auckland Municipal Abattoir—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 27·2 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Otahuhu, being part of Lot 25 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 1063, and being part of the block situated in the Otahuhu Survey District called Fairburns Old Land Claim No. 269A, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 359, folio 245 (Auckland Registry).
