A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for transport purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken : 0Β·21 perches.
Being part Lot 3, D.P. 9630, being part Section 1, Evans Bay District.
Situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 21632.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127321, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of July, 1948.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estates in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Maori Trustee by Grace Helena Everett, wife of Henry Bruester Everett, of Riwaka, Farmer, under and by virtue of Leases Nos. 2242 and 2228, Nelson Registry, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, are hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
