SCHEDULE
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Taieri Road, fronting Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 51, Township of Broughton.
Also the south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Gilmore Street, fronting Lots 6, 11, and 15, D.P. 51, Township of Broughton.
Also the north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Pennant Street, fronting Lots 3, 10, and 14, D.P. 51, Township of Broughton.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127391, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Varying the Determinations in respect of the Whangarei Borough Council’s Loan of £20,000

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight (hereinafter referred to as the said Order in Council), and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the Whangarei Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the said local authority) of a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), to be known as “Sewerage Extension and Storm-water Drainage Loan, 1947” (hereinafter referred to as the said loan):
And whereas the authority conferred by the said Order in Council has not yet been exercised, and it is expedient to vary certain of the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by prescribing that in lieu of the raising of the said loan in four (4) equal portions of five thousand pounds (£5,000) each and the repayment of each such portion of five thousand pounds (£5,000) by half-yearly instalments in the half-years set out in the Schedule to the said Order in Council, as specified in clause three of the said Order in Council, the said loan shall be repaid by the half-yearly redemption of debentures in the half-years set out in the first column of the Schedule hereunder of the amounts stated opposite each such half-year in the second column of the said Schedule.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section thirty-four of the Maori Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby confer upon the Maori Land Court jurisdiction to hear and determine, as between Maoris, any claims to the ownership or possession of the greenstone meres named in the Schedule hereto, and to make such order or orders in the premises as the Court thinks necessary or expedient.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Eivers Beach Domain therein described:
And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council dated the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Ernest Richard O’Neill,
William Watson, and
Cecil William Stevens
to be the Orari Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Orari Coronation Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
