ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
July, 1948
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section five of the Maori Purposes Act, 1937,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set
apart and reserve the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori reservation for the common use of the members
of the Ngatimoeahu Sub-tribe of the Taranaki Tribe as a marae
and meeting-place, a burial-ground, and a place of historical interest.

hapu of the Ngaruahine Tribe as a place of historical interest.

ALL that piece of land containing 90 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more
or less, being part of Section 5, Block VI, Waimate Survey District,
and being the balance of the Otamare Block.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Maori
Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
both hereby vary the Order in Council made on the seventh day
of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published
in the Gazette on the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-seven, at page 1162, and affecting Kinohaku
West E 1B 2 and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the lands
described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Claims Settlement
Act, 1946, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, both
hereby amend the regulations affecting the Tainui Maori Trust
Board made pursuant to the said Act on the twenty-eighth day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published
in the Gazette on the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-seven, at page 709, by deleting therefrom the First
Schedule and substituting therefor the following Schedule.
