ROTORUA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm-water Drainage Loan Redemption Loan, 1948, £4,250

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rotorua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£4,250), authorized to be raised by the Rotorua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of the Storm-water Drainage Loan, 1938, £7,300, the said Rotorua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one two six pence (0·126d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Municipal Buildings Loan Redemption Loan, 1948, £17,840

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rotorua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seventeen thousand eight hundred and forty pounds (£17,840), authorized to be raised by the Rotorua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the outstanding liability in respect of the Municipal Buildings Loan, 1938, £25,500, the said Rotorua Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three nought six pence (0·306d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE
