A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
1 rood 13·36 perches.
Being Lot 16 on D.P. 8389, being part Allotment 209, Komakorau Parish.

Situated in Block IV, Newcastle Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33754.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126937, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1948.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, containing by admeasurement 1,607 acres, more or less, and being Sections 5 and 8, Block VI, Mahoe Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 61/11, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Taranaki plans S.O. 3087 and 3092.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of June, 1948.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 6·9 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 3 of Section 20, Roimata Settlement, situated in the City of Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-west by Lot 2 on Deposit Plan 9221, a distance of 255·44 links bearing 43° 16′; towards the north-east by the other part of Lot 3 above mentioned, a distance of 114·8 links bearing 313° 18′; towards the north-west by Lot 2 of Section 20, Roimata Settlement, a distance of 255·44 links bearing 223° 16′; and towards the south-west by Lots 28, 29, and 30 on Deposit Plan 2117, a distance of 114·8 links bearing 133° 18′. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4919A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of July, 1948

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize George Harold Hope Robertson, of Hari Hari, Tea-room Proprietor and Farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto subject to the following conditions.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be direct current as described in paragraph (d) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1969, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

ELECTRIC lines adapted for the supply of electrical energy as prescribed in these presents commencing from the licensee’s generator situated in part Section 162, Block V, Poerua Survey District, in the Land District of Westland, and proceeding thence to the licensee’s residence and tea-rooms situated in the said section, and to a residence situated in part Section 161, Block VI, Poerua Survey District, the said lines being more particularly delineated by means of black lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 25, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.
