Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitations of Area

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1948

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section forty of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by William Robert Atkins, of Tarras, Farmer, of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred and seven of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing 4,450 acres, being Run 236F, Tarras and Lower Hawea Survey Districts, and being all the land comprised and described in Small Grazing-run Lease No. 1035, registered in Register-book, Volume 251, folio 55 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 183 acres 2 roods 26 perches, being Section 5, Block VII, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Lease in Perpetuity No. 316, registered in Register-book, Volume 110, folio 3 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 176 acres 2 roods 10 perches, being Section 6, Block VII, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Lease in Perpetuity No. 895, registered in Register-book, Volume 120, folio 39 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 235 acres 2 roods 14 perches, being Section 12, Block VII, and Section 4, Block X, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Lease in Perpetuity No. 998, registered in Register-book, Volume 123, folio 11 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 122 acres 2 roods, being Section 24, Block XII, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Renewable Lease No. 266, registered in Register-book, Volume 179, folio 117 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 139 acres 3 roods 5 perches, being Section 25, Block XII, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Renewable Lease No. 302, registered in Register-book, Volume 183, folio 18 (Otago Registry).

Also all that area containing 198 acres and 13 perches, being Section 10, Block VII, Tarras Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Renewable Lease No. 380, registered in Register-book, Volume 206, folio 196 (Otago Registry).
