The Standards Act, 1941.—Specification declared to be a Standard Specification

NOTICE is hereby given that on Ist July, 1948, the under- mentioned specification was declared to be a standard specification by the Minister of Industries and Commerce pursuant to section 3 of the Standards Act, 1941:—

N.Z.S.S. 603.—Special Salt Glazed Ware Pipes with Acid- resistant Properties (being B.S. 1143-1943 with amended title).

Price Order No. 901 (Amending Price Order No. 128) (Eggs)

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 901, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 128* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

2. This Order shall come into force on the 12th day of July, 1948.

3. The Second and Third Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 866†, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor respectively:—

   (2) The revocation of the said Order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this Order.

Price Order No. 902 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 899) (Fish-Wellington)

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 902, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 899* (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

2. This Order shall come into force on the 8th day of July, 1948.

3. The principal Order is hereby amended by omitting from clause 3 the words “Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936”, and substituting the words “Fisheries Amendment Act, 1945”. Dated at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1948.

1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 903, and shall come into force on the 12th day of July, 1948.

2. (1) Price Order No. 745* is hereby revoked.
   (2) The revocation of the said Order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this Order.

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

3. This Order applies only with respect to boot and floor polishes manufactured by the Nugget Polish Company of New Zealand, Limited, and marketed under the trade name of “Nugget,” “Poliflor,” “Cardinal,” “Rolfes,” or “Tip Top.”
