ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the south-western corner of Section 3, Block VII, Waihi South Survey District, and running southerly along a right line to the south-western corner of part Allotment 63, Matata Parish; thence south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 18 (Maungawhakamana), situated in Block III, Ruawahia Survey District; thence again southerly along another right line passing through Trig. Station No. 38 (Ahiwhakamura), situated in Block X, Kaingaroa Survey District, to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Station No. 76A (Tawhiwau), situated in Block XIV, Galatea Survey District, and Trig. Station No. 31 (Paeroa), situated in Block V, Paeroa Survey District; thence easterly generally along the last-mentioned right line to Trig. Station No. 31 (Paeroa) aforesaid, and along another right line to Trig. Station No. 807 (Uraura), situated in Block VII, Ngautuku Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station No. 27 (Puwhenua), being the eastern corner of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District, and along another right line in the direction of Trig. Station No. 146 (Te Weraiti), being the western corner of Block IV, Opoutihi Survey District, to its intersection with the production of a right line between the south-western corner of Section 3, Block VII, Waihi Survey District aforesaid, and Trig. Station No. 1039 (Otanewainuku), situated in Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence due east along the last-mentioned right line through the said Trig. Station No. 1039 (Otanewainuku), to the point of commencement; save and excepting thereout the Borough of Rotorua, as described in the First Schedule hereto.
THIRD SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE SOUTH RIDING, COUNTY OF ROTORUA
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the County of Rotorua, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the western boundary of the County of Rotorua, as described in the Second Schedule hereto, with the middle of the Cambridge-Rotorua State Highway, and running south-easterly generally along the middle of the said State highway, to and along the middle of the Frankton Junction -Rotorua Railway to the middle of the Ngongotaha Stream; thence down the middle of that stream, to and along the shores of Lake Rotorua, to and along the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the Rotorua Borough, as described in the First Schedule hereto, again along the shores of Lake Rotorua aforesaid, to and along the south-western boundary of Whakapoungakau No. 16 Section 2B 2F Block, a right line across the Rotorua-Whakatane State Highway, to and along the south-western boundaries of Whakapoungakau No. 16 Section 2B 2G 1 Block, Okataina Nos. 6B and 6A Blocks, to the shores of Lake Tarawera; thence along the northern shores of the said lake to and down the middle of the Tarawera River to the county boundary; thence southerly, westerly, and northerly generally along the said county boundary, as described in the Second Schedule hereto, to the point of commencement.

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.-Notice of Intention to take Lands

THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 1st day of June, 1949, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 26th day of July, 1948, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Hapuakohe Survey District, containing by admeasurement two hundred and six [206] acres one (1) rood seven (7) perches, more or less, being Hoe-o-Tainui North 6B 2A Block, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 229, folio 260 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Hapuakohe Survey District, containing by admeasurement forty-seven (47) acres two (2) roods thirty-four (34) perches, more or less, being part of Hoe-e-Tainui North 4A 2B Block, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 284, folio 277 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Hapuakohe Survey District, containing by admeasurement thirty-two (32) acres three (3) roods three (3) perches, more or less, being part of Hoe-o-Tainui North 4B 2 Block, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 235, folio 30 (Auckland Registry).
