Galvanized Sheet Control Notice 1948

PURSUANT to the Factory Emergency Regulations 1939, I, Leslie Raymond Morriss, Factory Controller, hereby direct and give notice as follows:—

(1) This notice may be cited as the Galvanized Sheet Control Notice 1948.

(2) Compliance with this notice may be excused or varied by the express prior consent in writing of the Factory Controller and subject to such conditions as may be specified in such consent.

(3) This notice shall come into force on the day next following the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(4) No galvanized sheet shall be used for any of the purposes scheduled hereunder:—

Advertising hoardings or signboards.
Babies’ baths.
Caravans or trailers.
Chemical lavatories.
Chimneys and chimney-pots.
Dust-bins.
Grass-catchers on lawn-mowers.
Neon signs.
Roofs for beehives.
Sanitary pans.
Stove-pipes.
Waste-paper baskets.
Watering-cans.
Wheelbarrows.
Water-buckets.
Coal scoops and scuttles.
Kettle bottoms.
