Date of Election by Fire-insurance Companies to fill Extraordinary Vacancy on the Dargaville, Hikurangi, and Whangarei Fire Boards

PURSUANT to the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, and the rules thereunder, the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act doth appoint Friday, the 23rd January, 1948, to be the date for holding the election of one member of the Dargaville, Hikurangi, and Whangarei Fire Boards by the fire-insurance companies concerned, such election being held to fill the extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. S. B. MacDonald.

Fixing Date on which certain Returns under the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, are to be furnished

Wellington, 13th January, 1948.

PURSUANT to section 28 of the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, it is hereby notified that the returns showing the total gross amount of the premiums received by or due to fire-insurance companies during the year ended 31st December, 1947, shall be transmitted to the Fire Board concerned in the manner prescribed by the said section on or before the 1st day of March, 1948.
