Paraheka Loop.—All that road or portion of road in the Waitomo
County, commencing at its junction with the Pio Pio – Ohura via
Aria Main Highway in Aria Village, and proceeding thence generally
in a southerly direction via Kumara, Paraheka, and Waitewhena
Roads, and terminating at its junction with the Pio Pio – Ohura
via Aria Main Highway near Sections 4 and 2, Block VI, Aria
Survey District, being a distance of 9 miles 30 chains, more or less ;
as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 126928,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.

Waitete.—All that street or portion of street in the Te Kuiti
Borough commencing at the junction of Rora and Lawrence Streets,
and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction via
Rora Street and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of the
said borough, being a distance of 57 chains, more or less ; as the
same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 126930,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.

Te Aroha – Springdale.—All that road or portion of road in the
Piako County commencing at its junction with the Waitoa–Maukoro
Main Highway near the north-western corner of Section 1, Block XI,
Waitoa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in an
easterly direction via Wiseman, Eastport, Bowler, and Stanley
Roads, and terminating at the north-western boundary of
the Te Aroha Borough, being a distance of 8 miles 40 chains, more
or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 126931, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 3

Rotorua–Whakatane.—All that road or portion of road in the
Rotorua and Whakatane Counties commencing at the Rotorua
Borough eastern boundary, and proceeding thence generally in
a north-easterly direction through Te Ngae and along the southern
shores of Lakes Rotoiti, Rotoehu, and Rotoma, and through Te
Teko and Awakeri, and terminating at its junction with the Paeroa–
Whakatane Main Highway near Whakatane, being a distance of
50 miles 40 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 127062, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Tirau–Wairakei.—All that road or portion of road in the Taupo
County commencing at the north-western boundary of the said
county, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction
through Atiamuri and Oruanui and terminating at its junction with
the Rotorua–Taupo Main Highway at Wairakei, being a distance
of 29 miles 65 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 127002, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Tauranga–Pairere.—All that road or portion of road in the
Tauranga County commencing at the south-western boundary of
the Tauranga Borough, and proceeding thence generally in a south-
westerly direction via Greerton and Kaimai and terminating at
the south-western boundary of the said county, being a distance of
15 miles 60 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 126922, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all those streets or portions of streets in the Tauranga
Borough commencing at the southern boundary of the said borough
at the junction of Sellars Street and Cameron Road, and proceeding
thence generally in a northerly direction via Cameron Road and
terminating at its junction with Roberts Street, being a distance
of 3 miles 8 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 126954, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Opotiki – Te Araroa.—All that road or portion of road in the
Opotiki County commencing at the eastern boundary of the Opotiki
Borough at the western end of the Otara River Bridge, and pro-
ceeding thence generally in an easterly and north-easterly direction
via Te Awanui Settlement and terminating at the western boundary
of Matakaoa County, approximately a quarter of a mile from the
sea-coast, being a distance of 70 miles 45 chains, more or less ; as
the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 127063,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Opotiki Borough
commencing at the intersection of St. John Street and Elliott Street,
and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction via Elliott
Street and terminating at the eastern boundary of the said borough
at the western end of the Otara River Bridge, being a distance of
14 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated
on plan P.W.D. 127063, deposited in the office of the Main Highways
Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Waiouru–Turangi.—All that road or portion of road in the
Taupo County commencing at the southern boundary of the said
county, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction
via the Waiouru–Tokaanu Road and terminating at its junction
with the National Park – Taupo Main Highway, being a distance
of 20 miles 60 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 127059, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Rotorua–Waikaremoana.—All that road or portion of road in
the Rotorua, Taupo, and Whakatane Counties, commencing at its
junction with the Rotorua–Taupo Main Highway near Waiotapu
Township in Section III, Paeroa Survey District, and proceeding
thence generally in a south-easterly direction via the State Forest
Plantations to Murupara ; thence to Te Whaiti and on through
Ruatahuna, and terminating at the southern boundary of the
Whakatane County at the Hopuruahine Turnoff, being a distance
of 72 miles 40 chains, more or less ; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 126970, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Taumarunui–Turangi.—All that road or portion of road in the
Taupo County commencing at the western boundary of the said
county, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and southerly
direction via Tokaanu Township and terminating at its junction
with the National Park – Taupo Main Highway near the Tongariro
River Bridge, being a distance of 5 miles 68 chains, more or less ;
as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 127055,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured black.

Mount Maunganui.—All that road or portion of road in the
Tauranga County commencing at its junction with the Paeroa–
Whakatane Main Highway, and proceeding thence generally in a
northerly and north-easterly direction via Otaimatua Road, and
then generally in a north-westerly direction and terminating at the
southern boundary of Mount Maunganui Borough, being a distance
of 7 miles, more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated
on plan P.W.D. 127064, deposited in the office of the Main Highways
Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Mount Maunganui
Borough commencing at the southern boundary of the said borough,
and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction via
Maunganui Road and terminating at its junction with Beach Road,
being a distance of 2 miles 5 chains, more or less ; as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 127064, deposited in
the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

Opotiki–Matawai via Motu.—All that road or portion of road
in the Opotiki County commencing at its junction with the
Opotiki – Te Araroa Main Highway at the Waiua River Bridge,
and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction and
terminating at the Waikohu County western boundary at Motu,
being a distance of 28 miles 64 chains, more or less ; as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 127063, deposited in
the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured black.

Tauranga–Station.—All that street or portion of street in the
Tauranga Borough commencing at the junction of Eleventh Avenue
and Cameron Road, and proceeding thence via Cameron Road,
Brown Street, and Cliff Road, and terminating at the junction of
Cliff Road and March Street, being a distance of 1 mile 60 chains,
more or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 126954, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Te Teko – Awakeri via Edgecumbe.—All that road or portion
of road in the Whakatane County commencing at its junction with
the Rotorua–Whakatane Main Highway at Te Teko, and proceeding
thence generally in a northerly and easterly direction via Edgecumbe
and terminating at its junction with the Rotorua–Whakatane Main
Highway at Awakeri, being a distance of 8 miles, more or less ; as
the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 126957,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 5

Rotorua–Waikaremoana.—All that road or portion of road in
the Wairoa County commencing at the north-western boundary
of the Wairoa County at the Hopuruahine Turnoff, and proceeding
thence generally in a south-westerly direction by way of the
Waikaremoana–Ruatahuna Road and terminating at its junction
with the Frasertown – Lake House Main Highway adjacent to
Lake House Landing, being a distance of 12 miles 58 chains, more
or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 88336, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Woodville–Ashhurst.—All that road or portion of road in the
Woodville County commencing at the northern boundary of the
Woodville Borough, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly
and westerly direction via McLean Street, Oxford, and Saddle
Roads, and terminating at the western boundary of the said county,
being a distance of 6 miles 62 chains, more or less ; as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 126956, deposited in
the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red and black.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Woodville Borough
commencing at its junction with the Napier – Palmerston North
Main Highway, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly
direction via McLean Street and terminating at the northern
boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 41 chains, more
or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 126956, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.

Hunter – Brown Street.—All that street or portion of street in
the Wairoa Borough commencing at its junction with Gisborne–
Wairoa via Morere Main Highway, and proceeding thence generally
in an easterly direction and terminating at the north-eastern
boundary of the said borough, being a distance of 30 chains, more
or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 126955, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 6

National Park – Taupo.—All that road or portion of road in
the Kaitieke and Taumarunui Counties commencing at the junction
of Ward Street and Waimarino–Tokaanu Road in the Waimarino
Township, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and
north-easterly direction via the Waimarino–Tokaanu Road, the
Roto–Aira Road, and the Roto–Aira Road deviation, passing through
Papakai Nos. 1 and 2, and terminating at the western boundary
of the Taupo County, being a distance of 20 miles 56 chains, more
or less ; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan
P.W.D. 127055, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
