  1. Haulage and Shunting Charges, Christchurch, Riccarton, and Addington

  2. Except where otherwise specified, the charge for haulage between the
    Department's sheds at Christchurch will be as follows:—

Goods not otherwise specified (minimum charge, ls.) . . 1 11 per ton.

  1. All goods conveyed from private sidings and station yards at Riccarton
    to private sidings and station yards at Addington, or vice versa, will be charged
    ls. 11d. per ton or part of a ton; minimum charge, 9s. 2d.

  2. Grain in lots of not less than 20 tons conveyed from private sidings and
    station yards at Christchurch to private sidings and station yards at Riccarton,
    or vice versa, will be charged at 3s. 2d. per ton.

  3. Grain in lots of not less than 6 tons conveyed from private sidings and
    station yards at Christchurch to the private sidings and station yards at Addington,
    or vice versa, will be charged 3s. 2d. per ton.

  4. Storage Charges at Blenheim

  5. Storage at Blenheim on goods of Classes E, F, and Q consigned for convey-
    ance by rail only will be charged as follows:—

For each week or fraction of a week after the first month, per ton 0 2

  1. The Department does not guarantee storage room.

  2. Port Traffic, Picton

  3. The charges for haulage, handling, and sorting goods ex ship for local
    delivery at Picton will be as follows:—

  1. The charges will be computed in accordance with the provisions of Reg. 127,
    General Scale of Charges.

  2. Through Traffic, Mines Department's Line at Blackball

  3. Goods and parcels booked between stations on the Government railway
    and Roa (Mines Department's line) will, in addition to the classified or local
    rates on the Government railway, be charged as follows for conveyance between
    Blackball and Roa:—

  1. Haulage and Storage Charges on Timber at Westport

  2. Timber loaded at Westport for shipment at Westport wharf will be charged
    4d. per 100 super. ft. for haulage from sidings to ships. The foregoing charge
    will include storage up to twelve days after the expiry of which period storage
    charges at the rate of 4d. per day or part thereof will be enforced.

  3. Timber stacked on wharf stacking-sites awaiting shipment will be charged
    for storage at the following rates:—
    For any period not exceeding twelve days, 4d. per 100 super. ft.
    For each additional day or part of a day, 4d. per 100 super. ft.

  4. Waimangaroa Branch Line

  5. Goods and sheep booked through between stations on the Government
    railway (Waimangaroa Junction excepted) and stations on the Waimangaroa
    Branch line will be charged upon the branch, in addition to the classified or local
    rates on the Government railway, as follows:—
    (a) Between Waimangaroa Junction and Conn's Creek: Sheep, 5½d. per
    head; timber, 5¼d. per 100 super. ft.; coal and minerals, minimum
    quantity, 6 tons per four-wheeled wagon, 2d. per ton; other goods,
    2s. 4d. per ton. Minimum charge, 7d.
    (b) Between Waimangaroa Junction and Waimangaroa: Timber, 4d. per
    100 super. ft.; coal and minerals, minimum quantity, 6 tons per
    four-wheeled wagon, 4d. per ton; other goods, 1s. 5d. per ton.
    Minimum charge, 7d.
