  1. Delivery of Goods and Minimum Charges, South Island Main Line and Branches

  2. Goods of Classes C and D, except such goods as require special delivery arrangements, consigned as under, will be delivered by the Department within the limits of the areas which it may from time to time determine in that behalf:—

  • Applies only to soap, soda crystals, and candles, direct ex factory.
    † Applies only to benzine, kerosene, and fuel oil in drums, and includes, in addition to delivery, the return of empty drums to rail.
    ‡ The Department will also undertake the collection at Timaru within such area as it may determine of goods of Classes C and D (excepting such goods which require special cartage arrangements) consigned to Waimate.
  1. For the purposes of this regulation Classes C and D will be deemed to include goods chargeable at such rates plus a percentage or other increase.

  2. The minimum charges for goods subject to delivery in accordance with the provisions of this regulation will be as follows:—
