Burnside Earthenware jars, or demi-johns, direct ex factory, loose 42s. 10d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 2 tons per four-wheeled wagon. Owners to load and unload.
Invercargill Red Diamond, O-tis, Oatlets, and semolina, in cartons 58s. 10d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 tons 10 cwt. per four-wheeled wagon.
Waimate Smithfield Butter and cheese 19s. 10d. per ton.
Christchurch Rabbits, packed, by passenger or express trains when accommodation is available in the Guards’ vans or roadside wagons of such trains 93s. per ton.
Oamaru Dunedin, Caversham, or Burnside Classes C and D (except meat, frozen or chilled, for export, or tallow) 40s. 5d. per ton.
Makareao Burnside Limestone 8s. 5d. per ton.
St. Leonard’s, Burnside, and intermediate stations Class N, ex ship 8s. 2d. per ton, including unloading charges from ship. Minimum quantity per wagon as per Reg. 77, General Scale of Charges. Any less quantity will be charged at such minimum or on actual weight at 8s. 11d. per ton.
Port Chalmers Dunedin Classes C and D.. 8s. 5d. per ton. The charges on ships’ goods will be computed in accordance with Reg. 127, General Scale of Charges.
Burnside, for private sidings Artificial manures and raw materials (except lime) for the manufacture of artificial manures, direct ex ship 4s. 8d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 6 tons per four-wheeled wagon. Where the Department provides labour for loading a charge of 1s. 5d. per ton will be made for such loading.
Green Island Steel billets Class N.
Christchurch Unmanufactured iron and steel 60s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 2 tons per four-wheeled wagon, 4 tons per bogie wagon. Owners to load and unload.
Dunedin Stations on the South Island Main line and Branches Ice-cream conveyed by express or passenger trains when accommodation is available in the Guards’ vans of such trains Classified C rate. This rate does not include delivery at any station.
Greymouth Unmanufactured iron and steel, including bolts, nuts, rivets, and patterns 80s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 2 tons per four-wheeled wagon, 4 tons per bogie wagon. Owners to load and unload.
