Parcels and goods traffic booked through between Wellington and stations between Elevation and Blenheim inclusive, landed at or shipped from Picton, will be charged at the following through rates for conveyance by rail and steamer, including wharfage and handling at Picton, and use of tarpaulins :—

These rates include (in addition to wharfage, loading or unloading at Picton, and the use of tarpaulins), cartage, wharfage, and harbour-improvement rate at Wellington, and sorting at Blenheim. Consignments of general cargo exceeding 3 cwt. in weight or 6 cubic feet measurement will be charged 8s. 10d. or at the rates applicable to general cargo, whichever is greater.
