A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
a maternity home and shall vest in the Otago Hospital Board as
from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 1 rood
32·82 perches.
Being Lots 17, 18, and parts Lots 14, 15, 16, and 19, Deeds Plan 85,
Township of Linden, being part Section 2, Block III, Upper
Kaikorai District, and being the balance of the land comprised
and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 201, folio 182
(Otago Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the

a quarry; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the seventeenth day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-eight.
