CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Town Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Renewable
Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 19th April, 1948.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is
open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act,
1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and
Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday,
21st June, 1948.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the
District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday,
23rd June, 1948, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is
unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board
or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the
examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required
to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising
the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.-TOWN LAND
Stratford Borough.-Town of Stratford
SECTION 832 : Area, 1 rood. Capital value, £80; half-yearly
rent, £2.
This section is situated on the corner of Miranda and Celia
Streets, about 32 chains from Stratford Post-office and Railway-
station. The section is intersected by a creek, but is suitable as a
residential-site.

undersigned.

STATE FOREST SERVICE NOTICE
Land in the Canterbury Land District acquired for a Permanent
State Forest
State Forest Service,
Wellington, 23rd April, 1948.
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921-22,
for the purposes of a permanent State forest.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.-CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, Eyre County,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Lot 1
on D.P. 13727, and being part of Rural Section 37081, situated in
Block XIV, Mairaki Survey District, and being the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Vol. 509, folio 211 (Canterbury
Registry). As the same is delineated on plan No. 143/22, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
