WAİKATO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
—
Roads and Bridges Supplementary Loan, 1947, £3,350
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,350, authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act (being a further sum of one-tenth of the loan of £33,500, authorized by a poll of the ratepayers taken on the 21st day of July, 1936, for the reconstruction and metalling of roads and renewal of bridges), the said Waikato County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one one-hundredth of a penny (1/100d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waikato County Council held on the 18th day of December, 1947.

PURSUANT to section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of the Te Horo Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, will be held in the Te Horo Public Hall, Te Horo, on Thursday, 29th January, 1948, at 8 p.m.
Business.—To receive from the liquidator an account showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.
