A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 6 acres 0 roods 20·3 perches.
Being closed road adjoining or passing through Lots 194 and 195, D.P. 21465, being parts Allotment 41, part Allotment 41 on D.P. 18572, and part Allotment 42, D.P. 17738, District of Tamaki.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
All that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, containing by admeasurement 592 acres 1 rood, more or less, and being part of Sections 1 and 3, Block XVI, Mawhera-iti Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 3 aforesaid; thence towards the north-west by provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 2112), and by Section 9, Block XVI aforesaid, to the Snowy River Road; thence towards the north-east by that road and by the Township of Hukawai to the easternmost corner of Section 1 aforesaid; thence towards the south-east and south-west by provisional State forest (Gazette 1920, page 2112) to the point of commencement; excepting thereout part of Section 1, containing 49 acres, more or less, and being part of provisional State forest (Gazette, 1930 page 3123). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/41, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1948.
