IN the notice of the appointment of a member of the Kiwitahi
Rabbit Board, published in the Gazette No. 8 of 12th February,
1948, page 162, for "Roy Seager Byrant" read "Roy Seager
Bryant."

Declaring a Portion of Railway Land at Wanganui to be Crown Land
[L.S.] B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 18Β·18 perches.
Being part Sections 259 and 262, Town of Wanganui (Railway
land).
Situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District, City of
Wanganui. (S.O. 21628.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9213, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 16th day of February, 1948.

Land at Ashburton taken for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway
purposes.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 1 rood 14Β·3 perches, more or
less, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 13601, and being part
Sections 843 and 844, Town of Ashburton, and being part of the
land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 80,
folio 1 (Canterbury Registry).
Situated in Ashburton Borough.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9163, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of February, 1948.

Additional Land near Newstead taken for the Purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway (Hamilton-Cambridge Branch)

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway (Hamilton-Cambridge
Branch).

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:-

2 O 23 Part Lot 3, D.P. 31358, being part Allotment 270,
Kirikiriroa Parish; coloured sepia.
Situated in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, and
Block III, Hamilton Survey District.
0 O 3 Part stream-bed (Mangaonua); coloured red.
0 O 3 Part stream-bed (Mangaonua); coloured yellow.
Situated in Block III, Hamilton Survey District.
All situated in the Waikato County. (S.O. 33506.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9198, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 11th day of February, 1948.
