Declaration of Election of Members of the Fireblight Committee of the
Wairarapa Commercial Fruitgrowing District
I, RONALD HERIOT LYNCH, Returning Officer for the purposes
of the Fireblight Committee elections under the Fire-
blight Committee Regulations 1928, do hereby declare that the
following candidates have been duly nominated for the election of
members of the Fireblight Committee of the Wairarapa Commercial
Fruitgrowing District, nominations for which closed at Wellington
at noon on the 5th day of February, 1947:—
Aris, Thomas William Yardley.
Broadbent, Archibald Maltby.
Kidd, Ethel Laura.
Pilcher, Frederick Herbert.
Tate, Walter Askin.
As the number of candidates nominated does not exceed the
number of members to be elected (five), I hereby declare the said
Thomas William Yardley Aris, Archibald Maltby Broadbent,
Ethel Laura Kidd, Frederick Herbert Pilcher, and Walter Askin
Tate to be duly elected.

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment
Act, 1936
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act,
1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the
Native Land Amendment Act, 1936.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Waiariki Native Land Court District,
containing 30,486 acres, more or less, situate in Block XVI,
Wharepapa Survey District, Block XIII, Patetere South Survey
District, Blocks IV, VIII, XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Ranginui Survey
District, Blocks I, II, V, VI, IX, and XIII, Whakamaru Survey
District, and called or known as part Pouakani Block.

D 5 (part), formerly known as Tikitiki 1A (part) Block.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby
revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto,
a certain notice dated the 6th day of September, 1938, and published
in Gazette No. 66 of the 8th day of the same month, at page 2008,
whereby the said land, inter alia, was declared to be subject to
Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, and such land
is hereby excluded from the Tuparoa Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District,
containing 54 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, called or known
as Akuaku A 4G 2, and situate in Blocks VIII and XII, Mata Survey
District.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby
revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto,
a certain notice dated the 30th day of January, 1939, and published
in Gazette No. 5 of the 2nd day of February of the same year, at
page 140, whereby the said land was, inter alia, declared to be subject
to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, and such
land is hereby excluded from the Waiapu Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District,
situate in Blocks VI and X, Waiapu Survey District, containing
24 acres 2 roods, more or less, and called or known as Taumata A 1
(formerly known as parts Taumataotewhatiu 2A and 2C).
