Dissolving Ashley River Trust

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section ten of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act, 1946, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, the Ashley River Trust, situated in the North Canterbury Catchment District, shall be dissolved, and that the powers and functions thereof shall be transferred to the North Canterbury Catchment Board.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1947.
