Order in Council as to Superannuation Rights of Herlof Anton Herlofsen Vogt, an Employee of the New Zealand Educational Institute (Registered)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of November, 1947
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS Herlof Anton Herlofsen Vogt, of Wellington (hereinafter referred to as the contributor) is, and from the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, has been, exclusively engaged as an employee of the New Zealand Educational Institute (Registered) (hereinafter referred to as the Institute), being an approved organisation within the meaning of section fifteen of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1940:
And whereas immediately prior to being so engaged with the Institute the contributor was a contributor to the Teachers' Superannuation Fund and was then contributing to the said fund five per centum of his salary:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section fifteen of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1940, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare and order as follows:-
(1) The contributor shall be entitled to continue to be a contributor to the Teachers' Superannuation Fund during and in respect of the period of his engagement with the Institute, subject, however, to the provisions of the aforesaid section fifteen of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1940, and to the following express conditions:-
(a) The contribution of the contributor to the Teachers' Superannuation Fund shall (in accordance with subsection five of the said section fifteen) be at the rate of five per centum of the salary received by him from the Institute:
(b) In addition to the contribution payable by the contributor, as specified in the last preceding paragraph, there shall be paid to the credit of the fund by the Institute at such times and in such manner as may be determined by the Teachers' Superannuation Board, a sum equal to five per centum of the salary from time to time payable to the contributor by the Institute.
(2) If the contributor is re-employed by the Institute while in receipt of a retiring-allowance from the Teachers' Superannuation Fund, no more of such retiring-allowance shall be paid in respect of any month than is equivalent, when added to the remuneration so received by him in that month, to one-twelfth of the annual salary on the basis of which he was contributing to the fund at the date of his retirement.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Okain’s Bay Domain

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint John Arthur Reginald Mason, William Thomson Currie, Edward Philip Coffin, Joe Harris, William George Graham, Leslie James Harris, and Terrence Melville Floyd Mason to be the Okain’s Bay Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at half-past one o'clock p.m., as the time when, and Okain’s Bay as the place where the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—OKAIN’S BAY DOMAIN
RESERVE 150, Block IV, Okain’s Survey District : Area, 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 3734, Block IV, Okain’s Survey District : Area, 9 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 3753, Block IV, Okain’s Survey District : Area, 3 acres 0 roods 22 perches, more or less.
Also Reserve 4440, Block IV, Okain’s Survey District : Area, 5 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Glenbrook Beach Domain

Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint The Franklin County Council to be the Glenbrook Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at twelve o'clock noon, as the time when, and the Franklin County Council Chambers, Pukekohe, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—GLENBROOK BEACH DOMAIN
ALL that area in the County of Franklin, situated in Block X, Awhitu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 10·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 46 as shown on the plan numbered 18680, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part of Allotment 11, Parish of Kahawai, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 176, folio 57 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1199, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Glenbrook Beach Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE
