Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed William Howard Edward Joll, of the Public Trust Office, Stratford, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Stratford, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Cancellation of Teachers' Certificates
IT is hereby notified that the Teachers' Certificates and registration as teachers of RONALD PAUL CALLAWAY and ALBERT SEYMOUR O'NEIL are hereby cancelled under the provisions of section 17 (I) of the Education Amendment Act, 1924.

Draft New Zealand Standard Specification.—D. 2244 Code of Practice for the Commercial Marking and Identification of Packages
NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand Standard Specification is now being circulated to affected interests for consideration and comment. The closing-date fixed for such comment is the 30th January, 1948.
All persons who may be affected by this specification once it has been declared a Standard Specification by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, may, at any time before the closing-date for comments, obtain, on application, free copies from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Hamilton Chambers, 201 Lambton Quay, Wellington, so as to have an opportunity to consider the draft and to comment thereon to the Standards Council or to an appropriate committee of the Council in accordance with subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act, 1941.

Price Order No. 785 (Amendment No. 2 of Price Order No. 612)
(Sultanas, Currants, and Raisins)
Pursuant to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 785, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 612† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).
- This Order shall come into force on the 21st day of November, 1947.
- The principal Order, as amended by Price Order No. 728‡, is hereby further amended as follows:
(a) By inserting after the word “raisins” in clause 4 the words “imported from Australia”:
(b) By omitting from paragraphs (a), (b), and (c) of subclause (1) of clause 6 the words “(whether imported from Australia or elsewhere)”.

B. Lothian, the result of the poll held on the 4th November, 1947, was as follows :
